ati radeon x600 driver

Most recent Beta2 Drivers installed. All works fine including games, IE media center etc until I try to open a file folder. System then crashes and error message is STOP 0x000000EA THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER Q293078. Suggest turning hardware acceleration off in display driver but appears to be no way to accomplish this. HAve tried to reinstall drivers to no avail. Hope someone has an idea -- Christopher
